Africa Hall in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, home to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, has been awarded the 2026 World Monuments Fund / Knoll Modernism Prize, the first building on the African continent to receive this recognition.​​

The award celebrates the restoration led by Architectus, which preserved the building’s modernist character while preparing it for continued use as a diplomatic landmark.​​
